About me... What can I say about me?

The very first thing I started messing around with roughly ten years ago now, was the original quake. I used to make levels and even made a really shitty mod for it called "NIGHTMARE QUAKE". It was a multiplayer mode with bots that you fumbled around int he dark as you were set on fire. The more people around the same area the more lighter it would get. It was a fun idea for a while and I took it to my friends house on a lan party. My love for making odd things started from there.

Then my brother and I got in to a little program called games factory. This was my introduction to actually making my own games. The first game My brother and I made was a game Called "Crash Kill and Destroy" which is a little tribute to a RTS game called "Crush Kill and Destroy" and it had the famous cartman "bitch song" looping in the background. Then I made a game by my self which was a 4 player top down shooter, with multiple game levels and modes. Had about 40 levels and modes all together and lots of weapons. Many games later including the original elements games, I moved to New Zealand with my girlfriend at the time. Sadly a lot of these games have been lost never to be seen again, due to a file sharing site going bankrupt.

I eventually split up with my girlfriend and get a flatmate. We started doing a mp3 radio show and I met my flatmates cousin Daniel Whyte. He would help make my first game on a program called Game Maker. It took me 2 weeks to make a game called Pipe Bomb Fishing, which Daniel helped make the graphics for. This game would turn up on a lot of really weird websites and was kinda infectious. Being labaled as a boring mini game. But from learning that language and making the game in two weeks, it felt like I won eventually.

We would go on to make more radio shows, blogs and music in till I left New Zealand and come back home to England. I was out of work for a year so I concentrated on making video games and hosting them on odd sites, this would spur me on to making this very website. Now with 6 games in one place and my very own .co.uk , I can say this year as been the best year for me doing what I do. Blogs, Music and Games will be hosted on here and I will make the most of it for the next 2 years.
